Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Caracas to Los Roques — Caribbean Welcome
Morning flight from Caracas to Los Roques Archipelago, a stunning national park comprised of over 300 islands and cays surrounded by turquoise waters. Land on Gran Roque, the only inhabited island. Check into your beachfront posada. Afternoon orientation walk through the colorful fishing village, then take a short boat ride to Madrisquí Cay for your first swim in crystal-clear Caribbean waters. Sunset from the Gran Roque lighthouse, with panoramic views across the archipelago.
Day 2: Island Hopping — Cayo de Agua & Crasquí
Full day boat excursion exploring the archipelago’s most beautiful cays. First stop: Cayo de Agua, the iconic sandbar connecting two islands with waist-deep turquoise water — one of Venezuela’s most photographed locations. Continue to Crasquí for snorkeling among vibrant coral reefs, tropical fish, and sea turtles. Beach barbecue lunch on a deserted cay. Afternoon at Francisquí, a pristine sandbar perfect for swimming and relaxation. Return to Gran Roque for fresh lobster dinner.
Day 3: Snorkeling & Kite Surfing — Noronquí & Dos Mosquises
Morning boat to Noronquí, the archipelago’s premier snorkeling spot with extensive coral gardens. Swim among parrotfish, angelfish, and rays in the shallow warm waters. Afternoon visit to Dos Mosquises, home to a marine biology research station and sea turtle sanctuary. Optional kite surfing lesson or simply relax on the pristine beaches. Day 4: Gran Roque to Caracas — Departure
Morning at leisure on Gran Roque. Last swim, final souvenir shopping for local crafts, or a walk to the Spanish Fort for final photos of the archipelago. Afternoon flight back to Caracas. Transfer to international airport for departure. Take home the memory of one of the Caribbean’s last unspoiled island paradises.
