Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Santo Domingo — Colonial Splendor
Arrive at Las Americas International Airport (SDQ). VIP transfer to your boutique hotel in the heart of the Colonial Zone. Afternoon guided walking tour of the UNESCO-listed Zona Colonial: Calle Las Damas, Plaza de Espana, Alcazar de Colon, and the stunning Cathedral of Santa Maria la Menor. Welcome dinner at a gourmet restaurant in the colonial quarter featuring Dominican fusion cuisine.
Day 2: Santo Domingo to La Romana — Altos de Chavon
Morning at leisure in Santo Domingo. Afternoon transfer to La Romana. Visit Altos de Chavon, an extraordinary replica of a 16th-century Mediterranean village perched on a cliff above the Chavon River. Explore the cobblestone streets, artisan workshops, the 5,000-seat amphitheater, and the Regional Museum of Archaeology. Spectacular sunset views over the river canyon. Overnight in La Romana.
Day 3: Saona Island Catamaran Cruise
Full-day catamaran cruise to Saona Island, part of Cotubanama National Park. Sail through crystal-clear Caribbean waters as you cross to this protected tropical paradise.
