Itinerary Highlights
Day 1: Arrive Grand Cayman — Dive Orientation
Arrive and transfer to your dive resort on Seven Mile Beach. Afternoon check-out dive at the resort’s house reef. Briefing on Cayman’s legendary wall diving — the Cayman Islands are perched on the edge of the Cayman Trench, which drops to over 7,600m just offshore, creating sheer vertical walls that make for some of the Caribbean’s most dramatic diving. Overnight at dive resort.
Day 2: North Wall — Grand Cayman’s Signature Dives
Full-day dive trip to Grand Cayman’s legendary North Wall. Morning: Babylon (rated among the Caribbean’s top 10 dives), a pinnacle rising from deep water with swim-throughs and massive black coral trees. Second dive at Tarpon Alley, where a canyon between two walls fills with dozens of silver tarpon. Third dive at Mixing Bowl — where currents converge creating a swirling vortex of light and fish. Overnight at dive resort.
Day 3: West Wall & Kittiwake
Morning: Big Tunnels on the West Wall — a series of archways and tunnels through the reef wall starting at 25m and exiting at 35m into the deep blue. Second dive at Orange Canyon, named for the brilliant orange elephant ear sponges that line the wall. Afternoon: USS Kittiwake — explore all five decks of this intact 251-foot submarine rescue vessel. Overnight at dive resort.
Day 4: Little Cayman — Bloody Bay Wall
Day trip to Little Cayman (50-minute flight). Dive Bloody Bay Wall, widely regarded as one of the world’s best wall dives — a sheer drop from 6m to over 1,800m featuring pristine coral gardens, eagle rays, and reef sharks. Second dive at Jackson’s Bight, a stunning coral canyon. Third dive at Mixing Bowl (Little Cayman version). Afternoon return to Grand Cayman. Overnight at dive resort.
Day 5: East End & Devil’s Grotto
Morning: two-tank dive trip to the East End — rarely dived walls with huge sponges, sea turtles, and frequent shark encounters. Afternoon: Devil’s Grotto and Eden Rock — shallow reef dives through a maze of coral canyons and swim-throughs teeming with tarpon and silversides. Overnight at dive resort.
