Itinerary Highlights
Day 1: Arrive Nadi
Bula Vinaka! Welcome to Fiji. Airport transfer to your hotel. Afternoon at leisure to adjust to island time. Evening welcome dinner and trip briefing. Overnight in Nadi.
Day 2: Sigatoka Sand Dunes Hike
Hike the ancient Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park — massive dunes rising 20-60 meters above the Coral Coast. Discover 2,600-year-old Lapita pottery fragments at the archaeological site. The dunes were once a burial ground for Fiji’s earliest settlers. Afternoon beach time. Overnight on the Coral Coast.
Day 3: Upper Navua River Rafting
An epic day of white-water rafting through the Upper Navua Gorge — one of the world’s most stunning river journeys. Paddle through a narrow, jungle-clad canyon with 40-meter waterfalls cascading down vertical black volcanic walls. Class II-III rapids suitable for adventurous beginners. Picnic lunch on a riverbank. Overnight in Pacific Harbour.
Day 4: Beqa Lagoon Shark Dive
The ultimate Fiji adventure: diving in Beqa Lagoon, one of the world’s premier shark diving destinations. On a single dive, you may encounter up to 8 species of sharks including bull sharks, tiger sharks, and reef sharks — all without a cage. Certified dive masters ensure safety. For non-divers: snorkeling with reef sharks or glass-bottom boat. Overnight in Pacific Harbour.
Day 5: Savulelele Waterfall & Suva
Hike to Savulelele Waterfall — a stunning 50-meter cascade hidden in the rainforest. Swim in the pool beneath the falls. Afternoon in Suva, Fiji’s capital: visit the Fiji Museum with its extraordinary collection of cannibal forks, war clubs, and the rudder from HMS Bounty. Thurston Gardens botanical park. Overnight in Suva.
Day 6: Colo-i-Suva Forest Park
Hike through Colo-i-Suva Forest Park — a pristine rainforest with crystal-clear natural swimming holes and waterfalls. Tropical birds, giant ferns, and the sound of rushing water. Afternoon return to the Coral Coast. Free time for beach activities. Overnight on the Coral Coast.
Day 7: Nananu-i-Ra Island Snorkeling
Journey north to Nananu-i-Ra Island off the coast of Viti Levu. This offshore paradise offers some of Fiji’s best snorkeling — vibrant coral gardens, schools of tropical fish, and the occasional turtle. Afternoon free for kayaking, windsurfing, or hiking to the island’s summit for 360-degree views. Farewell beach dinner. Overnight in an eco-lodge on Nananu-i-Ra.
Day 8: Depart Nadi
Morning snorkel or beach time. Return to Viti Levu by boat. Transfer to Nadi International Airport. Vinaka vakalevu, Fiji!
