Itinerary Highlights
Day 1: Arrive Prague — UNESCO Historic Center
Arrival and transfer to hotel. Afternoon guided walk through Prague’s UNESCO-listed historic center: Old Town Square, Charles Bridge, Jewish Quarter. Evening river cruise on the Vltava with views of illuminated Prague Castle. Overnight in Prague.
Day 2: Kutna Hora — Sedlec Ossuary & St. Barbara’s Cathedral
Day trip to Kutna Hora, a medieval silver mining town. Visit the Sedlec Ossuary — a chapel decorated with the bones of 40,000+ people arranged in chandeliers and coat of arms. Continue to St. Barbara’s Cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece, and the Italian Court royal mint. Lunch in a medieval tavern. Return to Prague.
Day 3: Zd’ar nad Sazavou & Telc
Morning visit to the Pilgrimage Church of St. John of Nepomuk at Zelena Hora, a UNESCO star-shaped architectural wonder. Continue to Telc, a Renaissance gem with a perfectly preserved main square framed by pastel-colored arcaded houses and a chateau surrounded by fishponds. Overnight in Telc.
Day 4: Trebic & Znojmo
Discover Trebic’s uniquely preserved Jewish Quarter and Basilica of St. Procopius — a rare testament to Christian-Jewish coexistence. Afternoon in Znojmo with its medieval underground labyrinth and Rotunda of St. Catherine with 11th-century frescoes. Overnight in Znojmo wine region.
Day 5: Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape
Full day exploring the Lednice-Valtice complex, known as the “Garden of Europe” — 283 sq km of romantic chateaux, artificial ruins, minarets, and manicured gardens. Visit Lednice Chateau interiors and enjoy Czech wine tasting at the National Wine Salon in Valtice. Overnight in Prague.
Day 6: Depart Prague
Morning at leisure. Transfer to airport. Depart with memories of six extraordinary UNESCO treasures.
