Itinerary Highlights
Day 1: Arrive Nice — Côte d’Azur
Welcome to the French Riviera. Transfer to Monaco (30 min). Evening walk along Port Hercule among the superyachts. Overnight in Monte Carlo.
Day 2: Monaco — The Billionaire’s Playground
Full Monaco exploration: Prince’s Palace, Changing of the Guard, Oceanographic Museum. Walk the F1 circuit. Afternoon at the Japanese Garden and La Condamine Market. Evening: Casino de Monte-Carlo. Overnight Monte Carlo.
Day 3: Èze & Nice
Morning at Èze’s Jardin Exotique, perched 427m above the sea. Continue to Nice for the Promenade des Anglais, the flower market in Cours Saleya, and the Old Town’s narrow lanes. Climb Castle Hill for the famous panorama of the Baie des Anges. Overnight in Nice.
Day 4: Antibes & Cannes
Morning at Antibes: the Picasso Museum in the Grimaldi Castle and the Cap d’Antibes coastal walk. Drive through Juan-les-Pins to Cannes. Walk the Croisette, climb the red carpet steps of the Palais des Festivals, and browse the designer boutiques. Overnight in Nice.
Day 5: San Remo & Italian Riviera
Cross into Italy. Stop at San Remo, the “City of Flowers” — its Russian Orthodox Church (1913) looks like a mini Saint Basil’s. Continue to Genoa, the birthplace of Christopher Columbus. Explore the UNESCO-listed Palazzi dei Rolli, the narrow caruggi (alleyways) of the medieval quarter, and the revitalized Porto Antico. Overnight in Genoa.
Day 6: Portofino & Santa Margherita
Drive to Santa Margherita Ligure and take the ferry to Portofino, the tiny pastel-painted fishing port that became the Italian Riviera’s most exclusive address. Walk to Castello Brown, a 16th-century fortress with views of the entire Tigullio Gulf. Afternoon: the Cinque Terre via train — hike the famous Via dell’Amore (Lovers’ Lane) between Riomaggiore and Manarola. Overnight in Genoa.
Day 7: Genoa Morning & Depart
Morning at the Genoa Aquarium, Europe’s largest. Transfer to Genoa airport or return to Nice.
