Itinerary Highlights
Day 1: Arrive San Jose
Welcome to Costa Rica! Airport transfer and city orientation. Overnight in San Jose.
Day 2-3: Tortuguero Jungle Canals
Two days exploring the “Amazon of Costa Rica.” Boat safaris through jungle canals spotting monkeys, sloths, toucans, caimans, and river turtles. Visit Tortuguero village and Caribbean beach.
Day 4-5: Arenal Volcano
Hanging bridges canopy walks, volcano lava-field hike, Tabacon hot springs, and La Fortuna Waterfall. Optional zip-lining or whitewater rafting on day 5.
Day 6-7: Monteverde Cloud Forest
Guided walks in the misty cloud forest reserve. Canopy Sky Walk, coffee plantation tour, hummingbird gallery, and optional night wildlife walk to spot kinkajous and tarantulas.
Day 8-9: Guanacaste — Pacific Gold Coast
Transfer to Guanacaste province — Costa Rica’s “Gold Coast.” Two days exploring Rincon de la Vieja National Park (volcanic mud pots, hot springs, waterfalls) and pristine Pacific beaches. Sunset at Playa Conchal or Tamarindo.
Day 10-12: Manuel Antonio National Park
Transfer along the Pacific coast to Manuel Antonio. Three days in Costa Rica’s most celebrated national park: white-faced capuchin monkeys, three-toed sloths, scarlet macaws. Hike to pristine beaches, catamaran cruise with snorkeling, and free time for surfing or relaxation.
Day 13: Depart San Jose
Transfer back to San Jose airport. Depart with a kaleidoscope of Costa Rican memories.
