Day 1: Into the Rainforest — Eco Village & Canopy Walk
Morning departure from BSB. Speedboat ride (45 min) to Temburong, then traditional longboat up the Temburong River deep into the rainforest. Stop at a waterfall for a refreshing swim in emerald pools. Arrive at Sumbiling Eco Village — your riverside accommodation built using traditional materials.
After Dark: Night Jungle Experience
After dinner of traditional Iban cuisine, embark on a night jungle walk. The rainforest transforms completely — listen to the jungle ensemble of frogs, insects, and nocturnal birds. Look for glowing bioluminescent mushrooms, the reflective eyes of slow loris and flying squirrels, and, if extremely fortunate, the rare Western tarsier. Your guide reveals the secrets of the nocturnal forest that few visitors ever experience.
Day 2: Dawn Chorus & Return
