Day 1: Arrive Kuwait City
Airport greeting and hotel check-in. Evening orientation: Kuwait Towers at sunset, Arabian Gulf Road drive. Welcome dinner with traditional machboos. Overnight in Kuwait City.
Day 2: Kuwait City Deep Dive
Full-day cultural immersion. Morning at the Grand Mosque for a guided tour. Visit the Kuwait National Museum and the world-renowned Al-Sabah Collection of Islamic Art. Afternoon at the Tareq Rajab Museum for Islamic jewelry and musical instruments. Explore Souk Al-Mubarakiya’s labyrinth of alleys. Evening visit to the Mirror House, a private residence entirely covered in mirror mosaics by artist Lidia Al Qattan. Overnight in Kuwait City.
Day 3: Failaka Island — Full Day Exploration
Early morning ferry to Failaka Island. Visit the Dilmun civilization archaeological site (Bronze Age, one of the earliest civilizations in the Gulf). Explore the Greek settlement of Ikaros, founded by Alexander the Great’s admiral. See abandoned Kuwaiti homes with bullet holes from the 1990 Iraqi invasion — a unique open-air museum of recent history. Walk through the island’s date palm groves. Return ferry and overnight in Kuwait City.
Day 4: Desert & Coast
Morning desert excursion south of Kuwait City. Visit traditional Bedouin camps to learn about desert life, camel husbandry, and falconry traditions. Afternoon visit to the Scientific Center — the largest aquarium in the Middle East with a fascinating walk-through tunnel. Evening at The Avenues Mall, one of the world’s largest. Farewell dinner at a rooftop restaurant overlooking the Gulf. Overnight in Kuwait City.
Day 5: Depart Kuwait City
Morning visit to Sadu House to see traditional Bedouin weaving. Last walk through Souk Al-Mubarakiya for souvenirs. Airport transfer.
