Sintra — Fairytale Palaces
Day trip to Sintra. Pena Palace — a Disney castle in real life — perched on a misty hilltop. The Moorish Castle, Quinta da Regaleira with its mysterious initiation well, and lunch in the historic village.
Porto — The Invincible City
Train to Porto. Afternoon walking through Ribeira, crossing the Dom Luís I Bridge, and the Livraria Lello — the bookstore that inspired Harry Potter. Evening port wine tasting in Vila Nova de Gaia cellars.
Douro Valley — Wine Country
Full day in the Douro Valley — UNESCO terraced vineyards along the Douro River. Private boat cruise, wine tasting at a quintas, and lunch overlooking the valley. Return to Porto for dinner.
Algarve — Cliffs & Sea Caves
