Itinerary Highlights
Day 1: Livingstone to Kafue
Morning pickup from Livingstone. Scenic drive north to Kafue National Park’s southern sector — Ngoma Area Management. Afternoon game drive through miombo woodland and dambo grasslands. Spot elephants, puku antelope, zebra, and the rare sable antelope. Evening at the lodge with a campfire. Overnight at a safari lodge.
Day 2: Full Day Kafue Game Viewing
Dawn game drive — the best time for predators. Search for lion, leopard, and cheetah as they hunt in the cool morning. Visit the Itezhi-Tezhi Dam for spectacular bird watching (fish eagles, kingfishers, herons). Afternoon boat cruise on the Kafue River for hippo and crocodile viewing. Evening game drive with spotlight for nocturnal wildlife. Overnight in Kafue.
Day 3: Morning Drive — Return Livingstone
Final morning game drive capturing the golden sunrise over the African bush. Brunch at the lodge. Return drive to Livingstone, arriving by early afternoon. Option to continue to Victoria Falls activities.
