Day 1: Arrive San Pedro Sula
Airport pick-up. Settle into your hotel. Brief orientation about Honduras, Central America’s best-kept secret. Overnight in San Pedro Sula.
Days 2-3: Copán — The Athens of the Mayan World
Journey through mountain scenery to Copán Ruinas, a charming cobblestoned town. Full day at the Archaeological Park of Copán (UNESCO World Heritage) — called “the Athens of the Mayan world” for its extraordinary sculpture. Highlights include: the Hieroglyphic Stairway with 2,500 glyphs (the longest Mayan text ever discovered), the intricately carved stelae depicting Copán’s 16 rulers, the Ball Court, and the Acropolis. Day 5: Lake Yojoa — Tegucigalpa

Day 6: Tegucigalpa — Valle de Ángeles
Morning tour of Tegucigalpa: the colonial center, the National Art Gallery, and the Basilica of Suyapa. Afternoon: visit Valle de Ángeles, a picturesque mountain town famous for its artisan crafts — leather, wood carving, and silverwork. Overnight in Tegucigalpa.
Day 7: Cross into Nicaragua — León
