Day 6: Nalut & Return to Tripoli

Day 7: Flight to Benghazi — Entering Cyrenaica

Morning flight from Tripoli to Benghazi, Libya’s second city and capital of the Cyrenaica region with its distinctly different character. Orientation tour of Benghazi: Freedom Square waterfront, Italian colonial arcades, the central souk, and Ottoman-era old city. Afternoon visit to Benghazi’s archaeological museum. Day 8: Ptolemais & Qasr Libya — Mosaics of Unearthly Beauty

Morning exploration of the Sanctuary of Apollo with its 7th-century BC Temple of Apollo, sacred spring, and altar.
