Day 1: Arrive Tripoli & Leptis Magna
Airport pickup. Drive directly to Leptis Magna — Emperor Septimius Severus’s hometown, the most complete Roman city outside Italy. Walk the colonnaded streets, the Severan Forum and Basilica, the amphitheatre facing the sea, and the Hadrianic Baths. Picnic lunch. Afternoon: Tripoli Medina — Red Castle, Arch of Marcus Aurelius. Overnight in Tripoli.
Day 2: Sabratha & Tripoli Deep Dive
Morning: Sabratha — the magnificent Roman theatre on the Mediterranean, exquisite mosaics, Temple of Isis, Byzantine churches. Afternoon: deeper Tripoli exploration — Gurgi Mosque, Karamanli House Museum, the gold souq, and Martyrs’ Square. Farewell dinner at a traditional restaurant. Overnight in Tripoli.
Day 3: Departure
Morning at leisure in the Medina. Airport transfer.
