Day 1-2: Accra — Group Bonding

Day 4: Kumasi — Ashanti Culture
Drive to Kumasi. Group visit to the Manhyia Palace Museum. Hands-on workshop: learn kente weaving and Adinkra printing from master artisans. Overnight in Kumasi.
Day 5-6: Lomé, Togo
Cross into Togo. Two days in Lomé: Akodessewa Fetish Market (the group’s most unforgettable experience), Grand Marché, and Lomé’s beaches. Evening: group drumming lesson with local musicians. Overnight in Lomé.
Day 7: Kpalimé — Togo’s Green Heart
Group hike to Mount Agou. Visit coffee and cocoa farms. Afternoon at Womé waterfalls for a refreshing swim. Overnight in Kpalimé guesthouse — group dinner and stories.
Day 8-9: Ouidah, Benin — Voodoo Experience
Cross into Benin. Two days in Ouidah: group voodoo ceremony, Python Temple, Sacred Forest. Walk the Route des Esclaves together. Day 9: meeting with a local voodoo practitioner who explains the cosmology behind the rituals. Overnight in Ouidah guesthouse.
Day 10: Ganvié — Group Pirogue Adventure
Pirogue expedition to Ganvié — the whole group on the water. Explore the stilt village, the floating market, and meet the Tofinu community. Lunch on the lake. Afternoon in Cotonou. Overnight in Cotonou.
Day 11: Abomey — Dahomey Amazons
Group tour of the Royal Palaces of Abomey. Learn the incredible story of the Dahomey Amazons — the all-female military regiment that terrified European colonizers. Interactive session: try traditional Dahomey dance and drumming. Overnight in Abomey.
Day 12: Porto-Novo
Explore Porto-Novo’s Afro-Brazilian heritage. Visit the Ethnographic Museum and Da Silva Museum. Group lunch featuring Beninese specialties. Afternoon at leisure in the city. Overnight in Porto-Novo.
Day 13: Return to Accra
Coastal drive back to Ghana. Group farewell dinner — jollof rice competition (Ghana vs. Nigeria vs. Benin versions!). Celebration with live music. Overnight in Accra.
Day 14: Depart Accra
