Itinerary Overview
Day 1: Libreville to Loango
Arrival at Libreville airport. Immediate helicopter transfer to Loango National Park — one of the most scenic flights in Africa. Check into Loango Lodge. Afternoon beach walk, spotting hippos offshore.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking
Pre-dawn start for gorilla tracking in Moukalaba-Doudou. Full-day trek with Ba’aka guides through incredible rainforest. Observe a habituated western lowland gorilla family for up to one hour.
Day 3: Tassi Beach & River Safari
Morning visit to Tassi Beach to witness forest elephants in the surf — a scene found nowhere else on Earth. Afternoon river safari on the Mpivie River for crocodiles, monkeys, and birdlife. Farewell beach dinner.
Day 4: Departure
Final helicopter flight over the rainforest back to Libreville. Connect to international flight.
