Day 1: San Salvador Arrival
Airport pickup and transfer to your hotel. Evening welcome dinner in the trendy Zona Rosa district.
Day 2: San Salvador City & Volcano
Explore the capital’s historic center, Metropolitan Cathedral, and El Rosario Church. Afternoon hike to El Boqueron National Park crater viewpoint.
Day 3: Joya de Cerén & San Andrés
Visit the “Pompeii of the Americas” — the UNESCO-listed Joya de Cerén archaeological site. Continue to the San Andrés Mayan ruins and the pre-Columbian museum.
Day 4: Santa Ana Volcano & Lake Coatepeque
Early morning hike to the summit of Santa Ana Volcano (Ilamatepec) for spectacular crater lake views. Afternoon relaxation at Lake Coatepeque, one of the world’s most beautiful crater lakes.
Day 5: Ruta de las Flores
Journey along the famous Flower Route through charming colonial towns: Nahuizalco, Juayúa, Ataco, and Apaneca. Coffee plantation visits and local artisan markets.
Day 6: Suchitoto Colonial Town
Explore the beautifully preserved colonial town of Suchitoto, overlooking Lake Suchitlán. Visit the indigo workshop and the Teatro de las Ruinas.
Day 7: Pacific Coast – El Tunco
Relax on the black sand beaches of El Tunco. Optional surfing lessons or simply enjoy the laid-back surf town atmosphere with spectacular sunsets.
