Itinerary Overview
Day 1-2: Libreville
Arrival and overnight at luxury hotel. Day 2 includes a city tour and visit to the Arboretum de Sibang with its incredible collection of Central African flora.
Day 3-5: Loango National Park
Fly to Loango for three days of gorilla tracking, hippo spotting on Tassi Beach, forest elephant encounters, and 4×4 game drives. Stay at the exclusive Loango Lodge.
Day 6-7: Pongara National Park
Boat transfer to Pongara. Walk pristine beaches where leatherback turtles nest. Seasonal whale watching (July-September) for humpback whales breaching offshore.
Day 8-9: Lopé National Park
UNESCO World Heritage site. Track mandrills — the world’s largest monkey — and forest elephants through savanna-forest mosaic. Visit ancient petroglyphs and the eco-museum.
Day 10-11: Ivindo National Park
Journey to Ivindo, home to the spectacular Kongou and Mingouli waterfalls. Boat safari on the Ivindo River. Chance to spot the rare grey-necked rockfowl.
Day 12: Departure
