Itinerary Highlights

Day 1: Arrive Aruba — Welcome to One Happy Island

Arrive at Queen Beatrix International Airport. Your driver greets you with a cool Balashi beer and transfers you to your resort on Palm Beach. Afternoon orientation walk along Palm Beach’s two-mile stretch of powder-soft sand backed by low-rise resorts. Welcome dinner at a beachfront restaurant. Overnight at Palm Beach resort.

Day 2: Arikok National Park — Aruba’s Wild Side

Full-day 4×4 Jeep safari through Arikok National Park, covering nearly 20% of the island. Visit the dramatic Conchi Natural Pool (Cura di Tortuga), a volcanic rock formation creating a natural swimming pool protected from the crashing waves. Explore the Quadirikiri Cave with its natural skylight piercing the limestone ceiling. Visit Fontein Cave with ancient Arawak petroglyphs. Climb to the top of Jamanota Hill (188m) for panoramic views. Lunch at Boca Prins, where sand dunes meet the Caribbean. End the day at Dos Playa, two pristine coves popular with local surfers. Overnight at Palm Beach.

Day 3: California Lighthouse & Arashi Beach

Morning: climb the California Lighthouse (named after the SS California shipwreck) for stunning views of the island’s northwestern tip. Afternoon: Arashi Beach, a local favorite with the calmest, clearest water on the island and excellent snorkeling right off the beach. Visit the Alto Vista Chapel (1750), Aruba’s first Catholic church and a pilgrimage site painted bright yellow. Sunset at the lighthouse with a bottle of champagne. Overnight at Palm Beach.

Day 4: Oranjestad & Island Culture

Morning exploration of Oranjestad, the colorful Dutch-Caribbean capital. Visit Fort Zoutman (1798), Aruba’s oldest building, housing the Historical Museum. Browse the Renaissance Marketplace. Visit the Archaeological Museum with artifacts dating back 4,500 years. Afternoon: visit the Aruba Aloe Factory (Aruba is the Aloe Capital of the world with 160+ years of aloe cultivation) and tour the plantation. Evening: Carnival dinner show celebrating Aruba’s Carnival traditions. Overnight at Palm Beach.

Day 5: Baby Beach & San Nicolas Street Art

Morning drive to the southeastern tip to Baby Beach — a man-made lagoon with waist-deep, bath-warm water, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Spot colorful tropical fish in the crystal-clear shallows. Afternoon in San Nicolas, Aruba’s “Sunrise City” transformed by the International Street Art Festival. Walk the streets covered in massive murals by artists from 30+ countries. Visit Charlie’s Bar, a legendary watering hole open since 1941. Overnight at Palm Beach.

Day 6: Catamaran Sail & Eagle Beach

Morning catamaran cruise along Aruba’s leeward coast. Three stops for snorkeling: the Antilla shipwreck (a 400-foot German freighter scuttled in 1940, now an artificial reef teeming with marine life), Boca Catalina (sea turtles and angelfish), and Malmok Reef. Open bar and lunch on board. Afternoon at Eagle Beach, consistently voted one of the world’s top 10 beaches, famous for its iconic fofoti trees (divi-divi trees bent permanently by the trade winds). Farewell dinner at a seafood restaurant overlooking the Caribbean. Overnight at Palm Beach.
