Daily Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Yaounde
Arrive at Yaounde Nsimalen International Airport. Transfer to your hotel. Afternoon briefing covering the Ring Road route, road conditions, and cultural protocols for visiting the various chiefdoms along the way. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Hotel Mont Febe, Yaounde.
Day 2: Yaounde — Bamenda
Long scenic drive from Yaounde to Bamenda (approx. 6-7 hours), crossing from the Centre Region into the Northwest Region. The landscape transitions from equatorial forest to montane grasslands as you climb through the Bamileke Plateau. Arrive in Bamenda, the regional capital known as the “City of the Future.” Evening walk through the Commercial Avenue district. Overnight at local hotel in Bamenda.
Day 3: Bamenda — Bafut — Wum
Morning excursion to the Bafut Kingdom and its impressive Fon s Palace (Royal Palace), a UNESCO-recognized cultural site preserving centuries of tradition. The palace complex includes the Achum — a sacred structure housing ancestral relics. Continue northwest to Wum, stopping en route at the majestic Mentchum Waterfalls cascading through volcanic rock formations. Overnight at a local hotel in Wum.
Day 4: Wum — Lake Nyos

Day 7: Babungo — Bamenda — Bamessing — Yaounde
