Thai Intro 18 Day — Ultimate Thailand: Bangkok, Khao Sok, Koh Phangan, Koh Phi Phi, Phuket & Chiang Mai

Day 1: Arrive Bangkok

Airport pickup. Evening welcome dinner by the Chao Phraya River. Overnight Bangkok.

Day 2: Bangkok Temples & Tuk-Tuks

Grand Palace, Wat Pho (Reclining Buddha), Wat Arun. Long-tail boat through klongs. Evening tuk-tuk tour to Chinatown. Overnight Bangkok.

Day 3: Damnoen Saduak Floating Market

Sunrise visit to Thailand’s most famous floating market — wooden boats laden with tropical fruits, noodle soups stirred over charcoal stoves, and the morning waterway ballet. Afternoon: free time to explore Bangkok. Overnight Bangkok.

Day 4-5: Khao Sok National Park

Fly south, transfer to Khao Sok. Two nights in floating bungalows on Cheow Lan Lake. Jungle trek to caves, kayaking through submerged forests, night safari, and sunrise swims. Overnight floating bungalows.

Day 6-8: Koh Phangan

Ferry to Koh Phangan. Three days exploring the island: Ang Thong Marine Park day trip (kayaking, snorkeling, viewpoint hike), Than Sadet waterfall, bottle beach, and sunset sessions. Experience the famous Full Moon or Half Moon party. Overnight Koh Phangan.

Day 9-10: Koh Phi Phi

Ferry to Koh Phi Phi Don. Maya Bay boat trip, Monkey Beach, viewpoint hike for the iconic two-bay panorama, snorkeling among reef sharks at Shark Point, and beachside evenings. Overnight Koh Phi Phi.

Day 11-12: Phuket

Ferry to Phuket. Two days: Big Buddha, Wat Chalong, Phuket Old Town’s Sino-Portuguese streets, sunset at Promthep Cape, and the southern island’s best beaches (Kata, Karon, Surin). Overnight Phuket.

Day 13-15: Fly to Chiang Mai

Morning flight to Chiang Mai — the cultural heart of northern Thailand. Three days: ethical elephant sanctuary (no riding — feed, bathe, and walk with rescued elephants), Doi Suthep temple (306-step Naga staircase to the golden chedi with city views), Thai cooking class (green curry, pad thai, mango sticky rice from your own hands), and the Sunday Walking Street market. Overnight Chiang Mai.

Day 16-17: Chiang Mai Adventure

Zip-line through rainforest canopy (Flight of the Gibbon), bamboo rafting down the Mae Taeng River, and visit the Sticky Waterfall (Bua Thong — climb directly up limestone cascades). Afternoon: Doi Inthanon National Park — Thailand’s highest peak (2,565m), twin pagodas, and the Ang Ka nature trail through moss-draped cloud forest. Farewell dinner at Chiang Mai’s best riverside restaurant. Overnight Chiang Mai.

Day 18: Departure

Airport transfer. Depart with 18 days of Thailand’s complete north-to-south experience.
