Day 1: Arrive Phuket
Airport pickup. Transfer to Patong/Kata beach hotel. Afternoon: orientation walk along the beach. Welcome dinner — fresh seafood and Thai curries. Overnight Phuket.
Day 2: Phang Nga Bay & James Bond Island
Full-day boat trip into Phang Nga Bay — a surreal seascape of 100+ limestone karsts rising vertically from emerald water. Kayak through sea caves into hidden lagoons (hongs) only accessible by canoe. Visit Khao Phing Kan — the “James Bond Island” made famous in The Man with the Golden Gun. Lunch at Koh Panyee — a floating Muslim fishing village built entirely on stilts, with a mosque, school, and even a floating football pitch. Afternoon: canoe through mangrove forests searching for macaques and monitor lizards. Overnight Phuket.
Day 3: Phi Phi Island & Bamboo Island
Sunrise speedboat departure for Koh Phi Phi. First stop: Bamboo Island — a perfect ring of white sand in turquoise water, excellent for snorkeling. Continue to Maya Bay on Phi Phi Leh — the stunning lagoon where “The Beach” was filmed, now carefully managed for ecological recovery. Snorkel at Loh Samah Bay and visit Viking Cave. Lunch on Phi Phi Don with free time to explore. Late afternoon return to Phuket. Overnight Phuket.
Day 4: Krabi Four Islands
Transfer to Krabi. Long-tail boat to the famous Four Islands: Koh Poda (iconic limestone island with sandbar), Chicken Island (snorkeling beneath the chicken-head rock formation), Tup Island (walk the sandbar between islands at low tide), and Phra Nang Cave Beach (one of the world’s most beautiful beaches, accessible only by boat). Snorkel, swim, and beach-hop through paradise. Overnight Krabi.
Day 5: Hong Island & Krabi Exploration
Morning: long-tail boat to Hong Island — the “Room Island” named for its hidden lagoon-chamber. Kayak through the narrow entrance into a cathedral-like lagoon surrounded by cliffs, with only a small opening to the sea. Snorkel the reef teeming with sergeant majors and butterflyfish. Afternoon: Railay Beach — hike to the viewpoint and lagoon, swim at Phra Nang Beach, and watch rock climbers on the limestone walls. Evening: Krabi night market. Overnight Krabi.
Day 6: Krabi to Phuket — Island Free Day
Morning return to Phuket. Free afternoon: choose your adventure — visit the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong, explore Phuket Old Town’s Sino-Portuguese streets, or simply beach-hop from Kata to Surin. Overnight Phuket.
Day 7: Similan Islands (Seasonal Nov-May) / Racha Island
November-May: full-day speedboat to the Similan Islands — consistently rated among the world’s top 10 dive/snorkel sites. Granite boulder formations, powder-white sand, and visibility exceeding 30 meters. Swim with sea turtles at Island No. 4 and snorkel the coral gardens of Island No. 8. June-October: Racha Island day trip — two beautiful islands with excellent snorkeling and pristine beaches. Overnight Phuket.
Day 8: Phuket Culture & Elephants
Morning: ethical elephant sanctuary — feed, walk alongside, and observe rescued elephants in a natural setting. No riding. Afternoon: Wat Chalong (Phuket’s most important temple), the 45m Big Buddha with 360-degree island views, and a cashew nut factory. Evening: Phuket FantaSea cultural show (optional) — a Las Vegas-style Thai cultural spectacular with elephant performances and a 4,000-seat buffet. Overnight Phuket.
Day 9: Free Beach Day & Farewell Sunset
Final day at your own pace. Options: Freediving intro course, Muay Thai training session, yacht sunset cruise, Thai massage marathon, or simply one last day soaking up the Andaman sun on Nai Harn or Freedom Beach. Evening: farewell dinner at a clifftop restaurant at Promthep Cape — the sun sinking into the Andaman Sea, painting the sky in impossible shades. Overnight Phuket.
Day 10: Departure
Airport transfer. Depart with the Andaman’s limestone towers forever etched in your memory.
