Day 1: Welcome to Oahu — Aloha!
Arrive at Honolulu International Airport and receive a traditional Hawaiian lei greeting. Transfer to Waikiki hotel. Afternoon: orientation walk down Waikiki Beach — the Duke Kahanamoku statue (father of modern surfing), the historic Moana Surfrider, and the Royal Hawaiian. Welcome dinner at Duke’s Waikiki overlooking the Pacific. Overnight Waikiki.
Day 2: Pearl Harbor — A Day of Remembrance
Morning visit to Pearl Harbor National Memorial: USS Arizona Memorial program (documentary film + Navy launch to the memorial), Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum on Ford Island, and the USS Missouri (surrender deck). Afternoon: Honolulu city tour — Iolani Palace, King Kamehameha statue, Kawaiaha’o Church (the Westminster Abbey of the Pacific), and the Hawaii State Capitol. Overnight Waikiki.
Day 3: Diamond Head Sunrise & North Shore Legends
Sunrise hike up Diamond Head crater (Le’ahi) to the summit WWII bunker with 360° Pacific views. Afternoon: drive Oahu’s legendary North Shore — Haleiwa town (Matsumoto Shave Ice since 1951), Sunset Beach, Banzai Pipeline, Waimea Bay, and the Polynesian Cultural Center to experience Samoan fire-making, Tongan drumming, Tahitian dance, and a traditional Hawaiian canoe pageant. Day 4: Fly to Big Island & Kona Exploration
Morning flight to Kona, Big Island. The landscape transforms to a world of black lava and turquoise ocean. Afternoon: Kona coffee country — tour a Kona coffee farm (Greenwell Farms, established 1850), learn the history, and taste estate-grown 100% Kona. Explore historic Kailua Village. Evening: sunset dinner cruise along the Kona Coast — watch for spinner dolphins and humpback whales (seasonal). Overnight Kona.
Day 5: Volcanoes National Park — Land of Pele
Full day at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Enter via the Kilauea Visitor Center. Walk the Devastation Trail through a landscape of dead ohia trees buried by 1959 cinder fallout. Explore the Nahuku Thurston Lava Tube — a 500-foot cave formed by ancient lava flows. Hike across Kilauea Iki crater floor. Drive Chain of Craters Road to the ocean. Day 6: Kona Coast & Fly to Maui

Day 9: Maui Free Day & Farewell Luau
Free day to craft your own Maui experience. Options: snorkel Molokini Crater, whale watch (winter), zipline through West Maui Mountains, or simply soak up the sun on Ka’anapali Beach. Afternoon: explore Lahaina — the giant banyan tree (60 feet tall, covers nearly an acre), historic Baldwin Home, and art galleries. Day 10: Departure
