Day 2: Bakau & Abuko — Sacred and Wild

The crocodile pool at the center is reliably dramatic. Overnight coastal hotel.

Overnight Makasutu eco-lodge.
Day 4: Makasutu to Coast
Dawn forest walk — the best time for wildlife. After breakfast, optional activities: more canoeing, bird watching, or a cooking class with village women (learn to make domoda, Gambia’s peanut stew). Afternoon return to the coast for final beach time. Evening: explore the Senegambia strip’s restaurants and live music. Overnight coastal hotel.
Day 5: Departure
