Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Nadi

Arrive at Nadi International Airport. Transfer to your beachfront resort. Afternoon orientation and welcome briefing. Spend your first evening enjoying a traditional Fijian lovo feast (earth oven) and a spectacular Meke performance featuring fire walking and traditional dance. Overnight in Nadi.

Day 2: Nadi to Robinson Crusoe Island

Morning boat transfer to Robinson Crusoe Island (Likuri Island). Arrive at this secluded tropical paradise surrounded by coral reefs. Afternoon at leisure: snorkel in crystal-clear waters, kayak, or relax on the white sand beach. Sunset kava ceremony — participate in Fiji’s traditional welcome ritual. Overnight in beach bure on Robinson Crusoe Island.

Day 3: Robinson Crusoe Island — Culture & Adventure

Full day on Robinson Crusoe Island. Morning jungle walk to learn about medicinal plants and traditional Fijian bush survival skills. Mud crab catching demonstration followed by a beach barbecue lunch. Afternoon coconut demonstration — learn how to husk, crack, and use every part of the coconut. Evening bonfire and guitar sing-along on the beach. Overnight in beach bure.

Day 4: Robinson Crusoe to Coral Coast

Boat transfer back to the mainland. Drive along the scenic Coral Coast to Sigatoka. Visit the Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park, Fiji’s first national park, where ancient Lapita pottery shards are still found. Afternoon visit to Natadola Beach, consistently rated as one of Fiji’s best beaches. Overnight at Coral Coast resort.

Day 5: Coral Coast — Sigatoka & Sabeto

Morning visit to Sigatoka’s bustling local market — taste tropical fruits fresh from the farm. Continue to the Garden of the Sleeping Giant, housing Raymond Burr’s magnificent orchid collection. Afternoon at Sabeto Hot Springs and Mud Pool — cover yourself in therapeutic volcanic mud before soaking in natural thermal pools. Overnight at Coral Coast resort.

Day 6: Coral Coast to Pacific Harbour

Morning transfer to Pacific Harbour, Fiji’s adventure capital. Visit a traditional Fijian village for a sevusevu (welcome ceremony) with the village chief. Learn to weave palm fronds and taste fresh coconut water straight from the tree. Afternoon free for optional activities: shark diving at Beqa Lagoon or river tubing on the Navua River. Overnight in Pacific Harbour.

Day 7: Pacific Harbour — Waterfall & Rainforest

Full-day adventure into the Namosi Highlands. 4×4 drive through lush rainforest to reach remote waterfalls. Swim in crystal-clear pools surrounded by tropical vegetation. Traditional Fijian lunch cooked in bamboo over an open fire. Afternoon tubing down the Navua River through breathtaking gorges. Return to Pacific Harbour for the evening. Overnight in Pacific Harbour.

Day 8: Pacific Harbour to Suva

Morning transfer to Suva, Fiji’s capital city. Visit the Fiji Museum to learn about the country’s rich history, including cannibalism artifacts and the rudder from HMS Bounty. Walk through Thurston Gardens and the Government Buildings. Afternoon explore Suva’s Municipal Market — one of the largest in the South Pacific. Overnight in Suva.

Day 9: Suva to Nadi via Coral Coast

Scenic drive back along the Coral Coast. Stop at Kula Eco Park to see Fiji’s unique wildlife including iguanas, parrots, and the rare Fijian crested iguana. Visit a local school or village project to learn about community life. Continue to Nadi. Farewell dinner at Port Denarau. Overnight in Nadi.

Day 10: Yasawa Islands Day Cruise

Full-day cruise to the stunning Yasawa Islands. Snorkel over vibrant coral gardens teeming with tropical fish. Visit a remote island village untouched by mass tourism. Swim in the famous Blue Lagoon with its impossibly turquoise waters. Beach barbecue lunch on a deserted sandbank. Return to Nadi in the evening.

Day 11: Nadi Departure

Morning at leisure — last swim in the pool or souvenir shopping at the Nadi handicraft market. Transfer to Nadi International Airport for departure. Carry home the warmth of Fijian hospitality — “Vinaka vaka levu” Fiji!
