Itinerary Highlights
Day 1: Barcelona to Andorra
Friday morning departure from Barcelona Sants Station (10:00 AM). The 3-hour drive climbs steadily into the Pyrenees. Arrive Andorra la Vella by early afternoon. Pick up ski equipment and check into your 3-star hotel. Evening: explore Andorra la Vella’s duty-free shopping and apres-ski atmosphere. Overnight in Andorra la Vella.
Day 2: Full Day Grandvalira Skiing
Grandvalira is the largest ski resort in the Pyrenees and one of Europe’s best: 210km of pistes across 68 lifts and 139 runs (7 green, 15 blue, 16 red, 4 black) spanning six sectors. The interconnected system reaches altitudes up to 2,640m with reliable snow December through April. Morning: warm up on the wide blue runs of Soldeu. Lunch at a mountain restaurant with panoramic views. Afternoon: explore the El Tarter and Encamp sectors. The resort has excellent snow parks for freestyle and the legendary Àliga black run for experts. Evening: apres-ski in Soldeu or Andorra la Vella. Overnight in Andorra la Vella.
Day 3: Morning Ski & Return to Barcelona
Morning on the slopes (optional — sleep in if you prefer). Return equipment, check out. Afternoon drive back to Barcelona, arriving by 6:00 PM.
