Itinerary Highlights
Day 1: Arrive Vágar — The Waterfall Island
Arrive Vágar. Visit Múlafossur Waterfall and the village of Bøur with views of Tindhólmur islet. Drive to Tórshavn. Overnight at Hotel Føroyar with panoramic fjord views.
Day 2: Tórshavn & Streymoy Deep
Full day exploring Streymoy: Tórshavn’s Tinganes and old town, Kirkjubøur (the medieval episcopal seat with the 13th-century St. Magnus Cathedral ruins), Saksun, and Tjørnuvík. Overnight Tórshavn.
Day 3: Northern Islands — Kalsoy & Viðoy
Ferry to Kalsoy. Hike to Kallur Lighthouse (Bond film location). Drive to Viðareiði for views of Cape Enniberg. Overnight Klaksvík.
Day 4: Eysturoy & Gjógv
Explore Eysturoy: Gjógv gorge village, Eiði village, Slættaratindur (optional summit hike). Cross the undersea roundabout tunnel. Overnight Gjógv guesthouse.
Day 5: Sandoy & Suðuroy
Ferry to Sandoy Island, known for its sandy beaches — a rarity in the Faroes. Visit the village of Sandur with its Viking archaeological site. Afternoon ferry to Suðuroy, the southernmost island. Explore the dramatic west coast cliffs. Overnight in Tvøroyri.
Day 6: Suðuroy & Return to Tórshavn
Morning exploration of Suðuroy: Akraberg Lighthouse at the southern tip, the dramatic sea stacks of Beinisvørð (470m cliff). Afternoon ferry back to Tórshavn. Farewell dinner featuring Faroese seafood — salmon, langoustines, and Faroese beer. Overnight Tórshavn.
Day 7: Departure
Transfer to Vágar Airport.
