Itinerary Highlights

Day 1: Arrive Anguilla — Tranquility Wrapped in Blue

Arrive via ferry from St. Maarten (20 minutes) or direct flight to Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport. Transfer to your boutique resort on Meads Bay. Welcome rum punch. Afternoon orientation on Meads Bay — consistently ranked one of the world’s best beaches with powdery white sand and water in every shade of blue imaginable. Overnight at Meads Bay resort.

Day 2: Shoal Bay & Island Beach Tour

Anguilla has 33 beaches — that’s one for every day of the month and then some. Beach-hopping day: start at Shoal Bay East, a 2-mile crescent of pink-tinged sand with extraordinary snorkeling right off the beach. Continue to Rendezvous Bay, with views across to the mountains of St. Maarten. Afternoon at Maundays Bay, a perfect horseshoe of blinding white sand. Lunch at a beach shack famous for its grilled crayfish. Overnight at Meads Bay.

Day 3: Prickly Pear Cays & Marine Adventure

Full-day boat excursion to the Prickly Pear Cays, two uninhabited islands surrounded by a marine park. Snorkel among pristine coral gardens where eagle rays, sea turtles, and tropical fish abound. Beach barbecue on Prickly Pear East with fresh-caught lobster. Afternoon: sail to Sandy Island, a postage-stamp-sized cay with a single palm-frond-roofed restaurant on it — the ultimate castaway experience. Overnight at Meads Bay.

Day 4: The Valley & Anguillian Culture

Morning exploration of The Valley, Anguilla’s charming capital. Visit the Heritage Collection Museum housed in the island’s only surviving plantation great house. View the Wallblake House (1787), one of the Caribbean’s oldest plantation houses. Visit the Anguilla Arch, a natural rock bridge on the wild west coast. Afternoon: rum tasting at a local distillery and visit an art gallery featuring Anguillian artists. Evening at a beach bar for live reggae. Overnight at Meads Bay.

Day 5: Little Bay & Culinary Journey

Morning cliff-jumping and snorkeling at Little Bay, accessible only by boat or by climbing down a rope — one of the Caribbean’s most secluded beaches. Afternoon: Anguilla is considered the culinary capital of the Caribbean with more than 100 restaurants for a population of just 15,000. Cooking class with a local chef followed by a progressive dinner: appetizers at a beachfront grill, main course at a fine-dining restaurant, dessert at a sunset bar. Overnight at Meads Bay.

Day 6: Depart Anguilla

Morning beach yoga. Transfer to ferry or airport.
