Itinerary Highlights
Day 1: Arrive Curaçao — Dive Briefing
Arrive and transfer to your waterfront hotel. Afternoon gear check and orientation dive at the house reef. Evening: Introduction to Curaçao’s unique underwater heritage — the island has both vibrant coral reefs and a fascinating maritime history. Overnight in Willemstad.
Day 2: Tugboat Wreck & Director’s Bay
Morning dive at the famous Tugboat wreck — a small tugboat sitting upright at just 5m, one of the Caribbean’s most photographed wreck dives, encrusted with colorful sponges and surrounded by sergeant majors and angelfish. Second dive at Director’s Bay, a beautiful wall dive dropping from 10m to over 35m. Afternoon: explore Willemstad’s maritime museum and the historic harbor fortifications. Overnight in Willemstad.
Day 3: Mushroom Forest & Superior Producer
Morning dive at Mushroom Forest, Curaçao’s signature dive site — massive star coral formations shaped like giant mushrooms reaching toward the surface, covered in gorgonians and visited by eagle rays. Second dive at the Superior Producer, a 200-foot freighter that sank in 1977 while overloaded with whiskey and clothing — now a spectacular artificial reef at 30m. Afternoon: visit the Curaçao Maritime Museum. Overnight in Willemstad.
Day 4: Playa Kalki & West End
Full-day dive trip to the island’s wild west end. Morning dive at Playa Kalki (Alice in Wonderland), a stunning double reef system with dramatic drop-offs. Lunch at Playa Grandi, where fishermen clean their catch — guaranteed close encounters with green sea turtles. Afternoon shore dive at Playa Lagun, a small bay protected by cliffs with excellent visibility. Overnight in Willemstad.
Day 5: Double Reef & Farewell Dives
Morning two-tank dive: Watamula, where two ocean currents meet creating nutrient-rich waters and extraordinary coral formations, and the Airplane Wreck, a deliberately sunk Cessna now colonized by marine life. Afternoon: farewell lunch and free time to explore. Overnight in Willemstad.
Day 6: Depart Curaçao
Morning surface interval. Transfer to airport.
