Itinerary Highlights
Day 1: Arrive Amman — City & Jerash
Airport transfer. Afternoon tour of Jerash, the “Pompeii of the East.” Walk the Oval Plaza, colonnaded streets, and the Hippodrome where chariot races were held. Evening: Amman Citadel at sunset overlooking the sprawling capital. Dinner on Rainbow Street. Overnight in Amman.
Day 2: Madaba, Mount Nebo & Kings’ Highway
Visit Madaba’s 6th-century mosaic map. Pilgrimage to Mount Nebo where Moses saw the Promised Land. Scenic drive along the ancient Kings’ Highway through canyons and Bedouin camps. Arrive Petra for overnight.
Day 3: Petra Full Day
Sunrise entry to Petra. Walk the Siq as light plays on the canyon walls. Full day exploring the Treasury, Royal Tombs, the High Place of Sacrifice, and the Monastery. Free afternoon to climb to viewpoints or revisit favorite spots. Overnight in Petra.
Day 4: Wadi Rum Desert Experience
Morning 4×4 safari through Wadi Rum. Visit Khazali Canyon, Lawrence’s House ruins, and climb the red sand dune. Afternoon camel ride (optional). Bedouin camp experience: traditional zarb dinner, tea by the campfire, and spectacular stargazing in one of the world’s clearest night skies. Overnight in Wadi Rum camp.
Day 5: Dead Sea & Departure
Drive to the Dead Sea. Float, mud bath, and relax at a resort. Shower and transfer to Queen Alia International Airport.
