Itinerary Highlights
Days 1-3: Beijing
Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Mutianyu Great Wall, Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven.
Days 4-5: Xi’an — Silk Road Starting Point

Days 6-7: Dunhuang — Desert Oasis
Fly to Dunhuang. Mogao Caves (UNESCO) — the world’s greatest treasure trove of Buddhist art: 492 caves with 45,000 sq meters of murals spanning 1,000 years. Crescent Moon Spring — an oasis in the Singing Sand Dunes. Camel ride at sunset across the dunes. Yumen Pass — the ancient Jade Gate, westernmost outpost of the Han Dynasty.
Days 8-9: Shanghai
Fly to Shanghai. The Bund, Shanghai Tower, Yu Garden. Depart Shanghai.
