Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Welcome to Nepal! Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport. Transfer to your hotel in Thamel. Nepal — home to 8 of the world’s 14 highest peaks, birthplace of Buddha, and a living museum of Hindu and Buddhist culture. Rest and acclimatize to the Himalayan altitude.
Day 2: Kathmandu UNESCO Treasures
- Kathmandu Durbar Square — The historic heart of the capital, filled with pagoda-style temples, the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, and the Kumari Ghar (home of the Living Goddess — a young girl revered as a living deity)
- Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) — 2,000-year-old stupa crowning a hilltop with the all-seeing eyes of Buddha and panoramic Kathmandu Valley views

Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara (200km, ~6hrs by road)
Scenic drive through the Middle Hills of Nepal — terraced rice fields, rushing rivers, and traditional villages. Option to take a 25-minute flight instead (spectacular Himalayan views). Arrive in Pokhara — Nepal’s adventure capital nestled beside the serene Phewa Lake with the magnificent Annapurna range as backdrop. Evening boat ride on Phewa Lake to the island temple of Tal Barahi.
Day 4: Pokhara — Sarangkot Sunrise & Mountain Views
- Sarangkot Sunrise — Early morning drive to Sarangkot (1,600m). Watch the sun paint the Annapurna range in shades of gold and pink — Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Annapurna I (8,091m), Machapuchare (6,993m), and the entire Himalayan panorama. One of the world’s greatest mountain sunrises

Day 5: Pokhara to Chitwan National Park (150km, ~4hrs)
