Day 1: Arrive San Jose — Welcome Dinner

Day 2: San Jose & Poas Volcano
Morning guided tour of San Jose: National Theater (built with coffee export wealth), Gold Museum, and Central Market. Afternoon excursion to Poas Volcano National Park — stand at the crater rim of one of the world’s largest active volcanic craters.
Day 3: Arenal Volcano & Hot Springs
Transfer through lush countryside to Arenal. Afternoon at Tabacon Hot Springs — natural thermal pools heated by the volcano with cascading waterfalls. Overnight with volcano view.
Day 4: Arenal — Hanging Bridges & Wildlife
Morning guided hike on Arenal Hanging Bridges — 15 bridges through the rainforest canopy spotting toucans, monkeys, and sloths. Afternoon optional activities: canopy zip-line or whitewater rafting on the Pacuare River.
Day 5: Monteverde Cloud Forest
Scenic boat across Lake Arenal, then unpaved mountain roads to Monteverde. Afternoon guided tour of a sustainable coffee plantation — from bean to cup. Overnight in Monteverde.
Day 6: Monteverde Reserve & Sky Walk
Early morning guided walk in Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve — misty trails, giant ferns, orchids, and the chance to spot the resplendent quetzal. Afternoon Sky Walk — suspension bridges through the cloud forest canopy. Evening farewell dinner.
Day 7: Return San Jose & Depart
