Day 1: Arrive Tallinn, Estonia

Welcome to Estonia! Airport transfer to your hotel in Tallinn’s Old Town. Evening welcome reception with your tour director. Overnight in Tallinn.

Day 2: Tallinn Medieval Old Town

Full-day guided walking tour: Toompea Hill (Upper Town), Toompea Castle, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, viewpoints over the red-tiled roofs. Lower Town: Town Hall Square (Raekoja Plats), the 15th-century pharmacy, St. Olaf’s Church, and the medieval city walls. Overnight in Tallinn.

Day 3: Lahemaa National Park

Excursion to Lahemaa — “Land of Bays.” Visit Palmse and Sagadi manors, the fishing village of Altja, and Kasmu maritime museum. Walk the Viru Bog boardwalk trail. Traditional Estonian lunch at a restored manor. Overnight in Tallinn.

Day 4: Tartu — University City

Day 5: Southern Estonia to Daugavpils

Cross into Latvia. Visit Daugavpils Fortress (early 19th-century, the only unmodified bastion-type fortress in Northern Europe) and the Mark Rothko Art Centre (Rothko was born in Daugavpils). Overnight in Daugavpils.

Day 6: Latgale — Land of Blue Lakes

Explore Latvia’s eastern Latgale region — the land of 1,000 lakes. Visit Aglona Basilica, Latvia’s most important Catholic pilgrimage site. Afternoon at a traditional pottery workshop — Latgale is famous for its black-fired ceramics. Overnight in Daugavpils.

Day 7: Riga Old Town

Drive to Riga. Afternoon guided tour: Dome Cathedral (housing one of the world’s largest pipe organs), St. Peter’s Church tower for panoramic views, the Three Brothers, and Riga Castle. Overnight in Riga.

Day 8: Art Nouveau & Central Market
