Day 1: Arrival in Oslo
Welcome to Norway! Arrive in Oslo, the vibrant capital city situated at the head of Oslofjord. Meet your tour guide and fellow travelers. Depending on your arrival time, take a stroll along Karl Johan’s Street, Oslo’s main boulevard lined with shops, cafes, and historic buildings. The Royal Palace, the Norwegian Parliament, and the National Theatre are all within walking distance. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant (optional).

Day 2: Oslo to Voss via Flam Railway
After breakfast, depart Oslo by coach and journey through the scenic Hallingdal Valley and past serene Lake Tyrifjord. Arrive at Myrdal Station, a mountain railway hub at 867 meters above sea level. Board the legendary Flamsbana Railway for one of the world’s most breathtaking train journeys. Over 20 kilometers, the train descends from mountain peaks to the fjord level, passing through 20 tunnels, thundering waterfalls, and dramatic gorges carved by glaciers. The engineering marvel takes you past the spectacular Kjosfossen Waterfall, where the train makes a photo stop. Arrive in the charming village of Flam, nestled at the inner end of Aurlandsfjord, a branch of the mighty Sognefjord — Norway’s longest and deepest fjord. Optional cruise from Gudvangen to Flam through the UNESCO-listed Naeroyfjord. Continue to Voss for overnight.

Day 3: Voss to Bergen
Travel from Voss to Bergen, Norway’s second-largest city and the “Gateway to the Fjords.” Upon arrival, enjoy a 2-hour guided walking tour of Bergen’s UNESCO World Heritage Site — the colorful wooden buildings of Hanseatic Bryggen, which date back to the 14th century. Visit the Church of Mary, the oldest building in Bergen, and Hakon Fortress. Explore the lively Fish Market where you can sample fresh Norwegian seafood. Optional visit to the Floibanen Funicular, which takes you 320 meters up Mount Floyen for panoramic views over Bergen, the surrounding fjords, and the seven mountains that encircle the city. Evening at leisure to explore Bergen’s excellent dining scene.

Day 4: Bergen to Loen via Sognefjord & Briksdal Glacier
Depart Bergen and cross the magnificent Sognefjord by ferry from Oppdal to Lavik. The ferry crossing offers stunning views of Norway’s deepest fjord, surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Continue through dramatic landscapes to Briksdalen Valley at the edge of Jostedalsbreen National Park, home to mainland Europe’s largest glacier. Hike or take an optional Troll Car ride to the base of Briksdal Glacier, a massive arm of the Jostedalsbreen ice cap. The glacier descends to within 350 meters of the valley floor, with thundering waterfalls cascading alongside. Dinner included at your hotel in Loen, situated on the shores of Nordfjord.

Day 5: Loen to Molde — Geirangerfjord Cruise
A spectacular day of fjord exploration. Travel to Geiranger, home to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Geirangerfjord — arguably Norway’s most beautiful fjord. Board a 1-hour cruise on the deep blue waters, passing the magnificent Seven Sisters Waterfall (De Syv Sostre), where seven separate streams cascade 250 meters down the cliff face. Opposite, see the Veil of the Bride (Brudesloret) waterfall. Drive up the dramatic Eagle Road (Ornevegen), featuring 11 hairpin bends climbing from Geiranger to the Eagle Viewpoint at 620 meters, offering the iconic view over the fjord below. Continue via Korsmyra and the legendary Troll’s Road (Trollstigen) with its 11 hairpin turns and dramatic mountain scenery. Ferry crossings from Eidsdal to Linge, then from Vestnes to Molde — the “City of Roses” with panoramic views of 222 mountain peaks across Romsdalsfjord.

Day 6: Molde to Oppdal via Atlantic Road
After breakfast, travel along the stunning Atlantic Road (Atlanterhavsvegen), named “Norway’s Construction of the Century” and one of the world’s most scenic drives. This 8.3-kilometer stretch of road hops across eight bridges connecting small islands and skerries, with the ocean crashing against the road on stormy days. Stop at viewpoints to photograph the dramatic Storseisundet Bridge and surrounding seascapes. Continue inland through beautiful mountain scenery to Oppdal, a charming mountain village known for excellent hiking and winter sports, surrounded by the Dovrefjell mountain range.

Day 7: Oppdal to Oslo
Journey back towards Oslo, passing through the scenic Gudbrandsdalen valley — Norway’s longest valley. Stop in Lillehammer, the charming Olympic city that hosted the 1994 Winter Olympics. Stroll the picturesque main street with its traditional wooden houses. Continue alongside Lake Mjosa, Norway’s largest lake. Arrive in Oslo for a 3-hour guided city tour by bus, visiting Vigeland Sculpture Park in Frogner Park, featuring over 200 sculptures by Gustav Vigeland. See the Royal Palace, Oslo City Hall (where the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony takes place), and the medieval Akershus Fortress overlooking the harbor.

Day 8: Departure from Oslo
After a final Norwegian breakfast buffet, your unforgettable journey through Norway’s fjords comes to an end. Transfer to Oslo airport for your departure flight, taking with you memories of Geirangerfjord’s Seven Sisters, the breathtaking Flam Railway, Bergen’s colorful Bryggen, the mighty Briksdal Glacier, and the dramatic Atlantic Road.
