Malta – Private Tour
8-Day Malta Discovery: Island Heritage & Coast Tour
7,000 years of history on a Mediterranean jewel — megalithic temples older than Stonehenge, Crusader fortresses, and turquoise Blue Lagoon.
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival in Malta
Private transfer to your hotel in Valletta — Europe’s smallest capital and a UNESCO World Heritage city. Evening walk along the Grand Harbour. Welcome pastizzi and Cisk lager.
Valletta — City of Knights
St. John’s Co-Cathedral — Caravaggio’s Beheading of St. John in situ. The Grand Master’s Palace, Upper Barrakka Gardens, and the Saluting Battery at noon. Afternoon at the Malta Experience 5D.
The Three Cities & Tarxien Temples
Dgħajsa (traditional boat) across the Grand Harbour to the Three Cities — Vittoriosa, Senglea, and Cospicua. Afternoon at Tarxien Temples — megalithic structures older than the Pyramids, with intricate spiral carvings and altar stones.
Mdina — The Silent City
Morning in Mdina — Malta’s medieval capital, a walled city of honey-colored limestone where no cars are allowed. The cathedral, the view from the bastions, and Fontanella’s famous chocolate cake. Afternoon at the Dingli Cliffs.
Gozo — Malta’s Sister Island
Ferry to Gozo. The Citadel in Victoria/Rabat, the Ġgantija Temples (5,600 years old), and the Xlendi Bay cliffs. Gozo is greener, quieter, and more rural than the main island. Try Gozitan ftira and goat cheese. Return to Malta by sunset ferry.
Blue Lagoon & Comino
Boat to Comino’s Blue Lagoon — water so turquoise it looks photoshopped. Swim, snorkel, and sunbathe on this virtually uninhabited island between Malta and Gozo. Afternoon at Paradise Bay or Golden Bay.
