Mount Cameroon Trek & Limbe Beach Escape — 7 Days
Conquer West Africa’s highest peak — Mount Cameroon (4,095m / 13,435ft) — on this expertly guided 7-day adventure. This active volcano rises dramatically from the Gulf of Guinea, offering one of Africa’s most rewarding non-technical summit climbs. The trek takes you through four distinct climate zones: dense tropical rainforest, montane forest, savannah-like grasslands, and the stark lunar landscape near the summit. After your descent, unwind on the black volcanic sand beaches of Limbe, visit botanical gardens founded in 1892, and explore the 1999 lava flow at Bakingili. Based on the Mount Cameroon Trekking Adventure (10D/9N) offered by Across Africa Tours & Travel on TourRadar.com, this 7-day version distills the essential experience.
