Day 1: Bucharest to Sinaia — Royal Peles & Bran Castle

Private airport pickup from Bucharest Otopeni (OTP). Drive to Sinaia to visit the magnificent Peles Castle, one of Europe’s most beautiful royal residences, with its German Renaissance architecture and lavish interiors. After lunch in Sinaia, continue to Bran Castle — the legendary Dracula’s Castle. Explore the medieval fortress perched dramatically atop a rocky outcrop, with its hidden passages, torture room, and stunning views of the Carpathian Mountains. Overnight at Casa Timar guesthouse in Brasov, a beautifully restored Saxon building.

Day 2: Brasov — Medieval Marvel

Full day exploring Brasov, one of Transylvania’s most beautiful cities. Morning guided walking tour: the Black Church (Biserica Neagra), with its magnificent Buchholz organ and collection of Anatolian carpets; Council Square (Piata Sfatului) surrounded by colorful baroque buildings; the 15th-century Catherine’s Gate; and Rope Street, one of the narrowest streets in Europe. Afternoon cable car ride to Mount Tampa for panoramic views of the city and surrounding Carpathians. Evening at leisure — sample local craft beer and traditional Romanian cuisine. Day 3: Brasov to Sighisoara — Vlad’s Birthplace

Morning visit to the Libearty Bear Sanctuary in Zarnesti, home to over 100 rescued brown bears roaming in a 69-hectare oak forest. Continue to Viscri, a UNESCO-listed Saxon village with its iconic fortified church, where Prince Charles owns a house. Drive to Sighisoara, the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler. Day 4: Sighisoara to Bucharest — Snagov Monastery

Morning at leisure in Sighisoara — visit artisan workshops and the medieval cemetery. Depart for Bucharest, stopping at Snagov Monastery on its island setting in Snagov Lake. According to legend, this is where Vlad the Impaler was buried after his death in 1476. Explore the 14th-century monastery and its frescoes.
