Itinerary Highlights
Day 1: Arrive Paphos — Wine Welcome
Airport pickup. Afternoon visit to the Paphos Mosaics and Tombs of the Kings. Wine tasting at a boutique winery overlooking the Mediterranean. Dinner at a meze taverna featuring Cyprus’s best wines. Overnight in Paphos.
Day 2: Troodos Wine Route
Follow the Cyprus Wine Route through the Troodos Mountains. Visit 3 family-run wineries in the Krasochoria (Wine Villages): taste indigenous varieties like Xynisteri and Maratheftiko, plus the sweet Commandaria — the world’s oldest named wine, served at Richard the Lionheart’s wedding in 1191. Lunch at a village taverna. Visit the painted church of Agios Nikolaos tis Stegis (UNESCO). Overnight in Omodos.
Day 3: Limassol & Commandaria Region
Visit Kolossi Castle, the Commandery of the Knights of St. John where Commandaria wine was first produced. Continue to Limassol’s medieval castle and the Old Town. Afternoon wine masterclass with a sommelier. Explore Limassol Marina. Farewell dinner at a gourmet Cypriot restaurant. Overnight in Limassol.
Day 4: Kourion & Depart
Visit Kourion’s Greco-Roman theater with stunning sea views. Last wine tasting at a coastal vineyard. Transfer to Larnaca Airport. Stin ygeia sas!
