Itinerary Highlights
Day 1: Arrive Andorra la Vella
Arrive in Andorra la Vella, Europe’s highest capital city at 1,023 meters. Transfer from Barcelona or Toulouse. Afternoon walking tour of the capital: the Casa de la Vall (16th-century parliament building), the historic Barri Antic (old quarter), and the Sant Esteve Church. Overnight in Andorra la Vella.
Day 2: Vallnord — Mountain Adventure
Full day in the Vallnord mountain area. Summer: hiking and mountain biking in the Pyrenees. The Coma Pedrosa Natural Park offers trails through alpine meadows, glacial lakes, and 2,900m peaks. Winter: some of the best skiing in the Pyrenees. Cable car to the highest viewing point. Overnight in Andorra la Vella.
Day 3: Ordino & Romanesque Heritage
Drive to the picturesque village of Ordino. Visit the Auditorium, the Miniature Museum, and the 12th-century Romanesque church. Continue to the hamlet of Pal with its stone roofs perched on a mountainside. Afternoon at the Caldea Thermal Spa — Europe’s largest mountain spa, with indoor and outdoor thermal pools overlooking the Pyrenees. Overnight in Andorra la Vella.
Day 4: Madriu-Perafita-Claror Valley (UNESCO)
Guided hike into the Madriu-Perafita-Claror Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site covering 10% of Andorra’s territory. This glacial valley has been shaped by pastoral traditions for over 700 years — stone shepherds’ huts, terraced fields, and ironworks. The valley is a pristine window into traditional Pyrenean life. Overnight in Andorra la Vella.
