Welcome dinner with Serbian barbecue and rakija (fruit brandy). Live tamburitza music. Overnight in Belgrade.

Day 2: Belgrade — Kalemegdan & Zemun

Full day in Belgrade. Morning at Kalemegdan Fortress — walk the ancient ramparts at the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers. Visit the Military Museum and the Victor Monument. Evening: experience Belgrade’s famous nightlife at a floating river club (splav). Overnight in Belgrade.

Day 3: Novi Sad & Fruska Gora

Day trip to Novi Sad, Serbia’s second city. Explore Petrovaradin Fortress — the “Gibraltar of the Danube” with its underground tunnels. Walk through the charming Old Town and Liberty Square. Continue to Fruska Gora National Park to visit Orthodox monasteries (Krusedol, Grgeteg) dating from the 15th-18th centuries, hidden among vineyards and forests. Wine tasting at a local cellar. Day 4: Topola & Oplenac — Royal Serbia

Traditional Serbian lunch at a rural household. Overnight in Belgrade.

Day 5: Drina River House & Tara National Park

Drive west to the Drina River. Visit the iconic Drina River House — a tiny wooden cabin perched on a rock in the middle of the river, one of the most photographed spots in the Balkans.
