Day 4: Giant Panda Base & Chengdu Culture
Morning highlight: Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding — see pandas at their most active during morning feeding. Watch red pandas, baby pandas in the nursery, and adults munching bamboo. Afternoon: People’s Park with tea house, Jinli Ancient Street, and Wuhou Shrine. Overnight in Chengdu.
Day 5: Leshan Giant Buddha
Day trip to Leshan Giant Buddha (UNESCO) — the world’s largest stone Buddha at 71 meters, carved into a cliff face over 90 years (713-803 AD). Boat cruise for the best photo angle. Return to Chengdu. Overnight in Chengdu.
Day 6: Fly to Xi’an
Morning free to explore Chengdu’s Kuanzhai Alley. Afternoon flight to Xi’an. Evening Muslim Quarter food walk. Overnight in Xi’an.
Day 7: Terracotta Warriors
