Arrive at your lodge near the park. Afternoon optional Batwa community visit — learn about the pygmy hunter-gatherer traditions. Overnight near Bwindi.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking & Return
Early breakfast. Transfer to park headquarters for briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. Begin your gorilla trek into the dense Bwindi rainforest — one of Africa’s most biodiverse forests. Trek duration varies (1-6 hours) depending on gorilla movements.
