Itinerary Highlights
Day 1: Arrive San Jose
Airport transfer and welcome dinner in San Jose.
Day 2: San Jose City Tour
National Theater, Gold Museum, Central Market, Metropolitan Cathedral. Afternoon at leisure for exploring Barrio Escalante’s gastronomic scene.
Day 3-4: Arenal Volcano
Two full days in Arenal: volcano hike, hanging bridges, hot springs, La Fortuna Waterfall. Optional activities: zip-lining, whitewater rafting, canyoning.
Day 5-6: Monteverde Cloud Forest
Boat & jeep transfer to Monteverde. Guided cloud forest walk, coffee plantation tour, hummingbird gallery, Sky Walk hanging bridges. Free afternoon for optional night walk.
Day 7-9: Manuel Antonio National Park
Transfer to the Pacific coast. Three days in Manuel Antonio — Costa Rica’s most famous national park. White-faced capuchin monkeys, three-toed sloths, iguanas, and scarlet macaws. Hike the park’s trails to pristine white-sand beaches. Afternoon catamaran cruise with snorkeling and dolphin watching.
Day 10: Return & Depart
Scenic drive back to San Jose. Departure transfer.
