Day 4: Komodo National Park — Dragon Trekking
- Full-Day Komodo Boat Expedition:
- Early morning speedboat departure into Komodo National Park
- Komodo Island Trek — Guided 2-hour walk through dry savannah and tropical forest to encounter Komodo dragons in the wild:
- The world’s largest living lizard — up to 3m long, 70kg
- Watch these prehistoric apex predators in their natural habitat
- See them basking in the morning sun, walking on their powerful legs, their forked tongues tasting the air
- Professional ranger escort ensures safety — dragons can run at 20km/h and have venomous bites
- Also spot wild buffalo, deer, and orange-footed scrub fowl on the island
- Pink Beach (Pantai Merah) — One of only 7 pink sand beaches in the world. The blush-colored sand comes from crushed red coral organisms mixed with white sand. Snorkel in crystal-clear water with vibrant coral gardens just 5m from shore
- Manta Point — Snorkel with giant manta rays (up to 5m wingspan) at their cleaning station. These gentle ocean giants glide effortlessly through currents filled with nutrients
- Return to Labuan Bajo in the late afternoon

Day 5: Komodo National Park — Padar & Taka Makassar
- Padar Island Sunrise Trek — 4am departure for the 30-minute hike to Padar’s iconic viewpoint. The reward: a panorama of three crescent-shaped bays in black, white, and pink sand — one of Indonesia’s most photographed landscapes, and you’ll have it nearly to yourself at dawn
- Taka Makassar — A tiny crescent sandbar in the middle of the ocean, barely 5m wide at high tide. Wade in waist-deep turquoise water that looks photoshopped but is absolutely real. Perfect for drone photos
- Kalong Island — Afternoon snorkeling stop, then at sunset watch thousands of giant flying foxes (fruit bats with 1.5m wingspans) stream from mangrove islands into the orange sky — one of nature’s most spectacular nightly rituals
- Return to Labuan Bajo
Overnight in Labuan Bajo.

- Afternoon Activities:
- House reef snorkeling — just 20m from the beach, swim with turtles, squid, and parrotfish in warm, crystal-clear water
