March is the golden period for the scenery of southeast Yunnan, and it is also the last month for the beautiful view of the sky mirror of Yuanyang Terrace. Yuanyang Terrace is a landscape and idyllic scenery carved by the Hani people for more than 1,300 years, reflecting the power of the Hani people to transform nature for generations. It is one of the three most beautiful terraces in the world and was included in the World Heritage List in 2013.
