Itinerary Highlights

Day 1: Arrive Hebron — Welcome to Palestine

Arrive in Hebron (Al-Khalil), one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. Meet your local guide at your apartment. Orientation walk: Hebron’s Old City with its Crusader-era stone architecture, the bustling souk (market), and the rooftop views over the divided city. Evening welcome dinner of maqluba (upside-down rice and chicken) prepared by your host family.

Day 2: Hebron Deep — Ibrahimi Mosque & Glass Blowing

Visit the Ibrahimi Mosque (Cave of the Patriarchs), a site sacred to Muslims, Jews, and Christians alike — believed to be the burial place of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and their wives. Explore the old souk’s spice alleys. Afternoon: visit Hebron’s famous glass-blowing workshops and the traditional kuffiyeh factory where the iconic Palestinian scarf is woven. Visit the Hebron refugee camp to hear personal stories from residents — a powerful encounter with living history.

Day 3: Bethlehem — The Nativity & Banksy

Travel to Bethlehem. Visit the Church of the Nativity (UNESCO World Heritage), built over the site traditionally believed to be the birthplace of Jesus. Explore Manger Square and the Milk Grotto. Afternoon: visit the Separation Wall, decorated with powerful murals including several by Banksy. Visit the Walled Off Hotel (Banksy’s art hotel). Meet with Palestinian artists and activists.

Day 4: Ramallah — Modern Palestine

Discover Ramallah, the de facto administrative capital of the Palestinian Authority. Visit the Mahmoud Darwish Museum dedicated to Palestine’s national poet. Explore the vibrant city center with its cafés, bookshops, and street art. Visit the Arafat Mausoleum and Museum. Evening: dinner and drinks in Ramallah’s lively restaurant scene — a side of Palestine most visitors miss.

Day 5: Jericho & the Dead Sea

Travel to Jericho, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities on Earth (11,000+ years). Visit the Tell es-Sultan archaeological site, the Mount of Temptation monastery (accessible via cable car), and Hisham’s Palace with its stunning 8th-century mosaic floor — the “Tree of Life.” Afternoon: float in the Dead Sea at the lowest point on Earth. Overnight Jericho.

Day 6: Nablus — Soap, Kanafeh & Samaritans

Drive north to Nablus, the commercial heart of the West Bank. Visit the centuries-old olive oil soap factories where soap is still made by hand using traditional methods. Walk through the Old City’s souk — one of the most authentic in the Middle East. MUST try: kanafeh, Nablus’s legendary cheese pastry dessert. Visit Mount Gerizim, home to the Samaritan community — one of the world’s smallest and oldest religious groups (fewer than 800 remain).

Day 7: Jerusalem (Al-Quds) & Departure

Visit Jerusalem’s Old City: the Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa Mosque (Haram al-Sharif), the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and the Western Wall. Walk the Via Dolorosa. Farewell lunch in the Muslim Quarter. Transfer to Allenby Bridge or Ben Gurion Airport.
