Itinerary Highlights
Day 1: Arrive Amman
Airport pickup and hotel check-in. Evening walking tour of Amman’s Rainbow Street district. Welcome dinner and trip briefing. Overnight in Amman.
Day 2: Wadi Mujib — The Grand Canyon of Jordan
Drive to Wadi Mujib Biosphere Reserve, the lowest nature reserve on Earth. Canyoning through the Siq Trail: wade, swim, and scramble through a spectacular sandstone canyon with waterfalls and hanging gardens. This wet canyon adventure is one of Jordan’s most thrilling experiences. Overnight at the Dead Sea.
Day 3: Dana Biosphere Reserve Hike
Trek through Dana Biosphere Reserve, Jordan’s largest and most diverse nature reserve. Hike from Dana Village (1,500m) through four bio-geographical zones down to Feynan Ecolodge. Spot Nubian ibex, Syrian serin, and Bedouin camps. Overnight at Feynan Ecolodge — candlelit, solar-powered, and one of National Geographic’s top 50 ecolodges.
Day 4: Petra — Back Door Trail
Enter Petra the adventurous way: hike the “Back Door” trail from Little Petra through the Neolithic village of Ba’ja. Approach the Monastery from behind — your first Petra view is the massive Ad-Deir facade in solitude, before descending to the main site. Full afternoon exploring Petra’s highlights. Overnight in Petra.
Day 5: Petra — High Place of Sacrifice
Second day in Petra. Climb the steps to the High Place of Sacrifice for jaw-dropping views over the ancient city. Explore the less-visited Wadi Farasa trail with the Garden Temple, Soldier’s Tomb, and the stunning carved amphitheater. Overnight in Petra.
Day 6: Wadi Rum — Hiking & Bedouin Experience
Transfer to Wadi Rum. Hike through the desert to Burdah Rock Bridge for spectacular views. Afternoon jeep safari to Um Fruth Bridge and Lawrence’s Spring. Sunset camel ride through red dunes. Overnight in a Bedouin camp.
Day 7: Wadi Rum Sunrise & Departure
Sunrise hike to a viewpoint for the desert waking up. Transfer to Amman or Aqaba airport for departure.
