Day 1: Arrive Socotra — Delisha Beach
Arrive at Hadibu Airport. Transfer to camp. Afternoon at Delisha Beach — pristine white sand and turquoise water. First swim in the Arabian Sea. Evening briefing under the stars.
Day 2: Dixam Plateau — Dragon Blood Forest
Drive to the Dixam Plateau (1,000m). Walk among ancient Dragon Blood Trees in the morning mist. Visit the Desert Rose forest — bizarre swollen-trunk trees with pink blooms. Wadi Dirhur canyon views. Camp on the plateau.
Day 3: Homhil & Dihamri
Visit Homhil’s infinity pool — a natural freshwater pool on a cliff edge overlooking the sea. Forest of Cucumber Trees (unique bottle-shaped trees). Afternoon: snorkeling at Dihamri Marine Protected Area — pristine coral gardens and vibrant fish life. Camp at Dihamri Beach.
Day 4: Hoq Cave & Arher Dunes
Morning hike to Hoq Cave — massive limestone cavern with 2,000-year-old inscriptions. Afternoon: Arher — the spectacular meeting of 100m white sand dunes and the Arabian Sea. Swim, sandboard, and camp at Arher as the sun sets over the dunes.
Day 5: Detwah Lagoon — Iconic Socotra
Drive to Qalansiyah and Detwah Lagoon — one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Kayak in turquoise lagoon waters. Walk the sand spit to the open Arabian Sea. Spot stingrays in the shallows. Farewell dinner on the lagoon shore.
Day 6: Departure
Morning return to Hadibu. Visit the local market for Dragon Blood resin and frankincense. Transfer to Hadibu Airport. Depart the alien island.
