Day 1: Bandar Seri Begawan to Temburong — Jungle Journey
Morning speedboat from BSB jetty along the Brunei River estuary into Temburong District. Switch to a traditional Iban longboat for the journey upriver through pristine primary rainforest. Arrive at the national park entrance and begin your jungle trek. Your Iban guide shares knowledge about forest ecology, medicinal plants, and wildlife tracking. Ascend the 50-meter canopy walkway — a series of aluminum towers connected by steel suspension bridges — for breathtaking 360-degree views of the Bornean rainforest. Afternoon visit to a secluded waterfall for a refreshing dip. Evening BBQ dinner and overnight at your jungle lodge.
Day 2: Morning Wildlife & Return to BSB
Early morning nature walk to spot wildlife during peak activity hours. This condensed experience brings the best of Ulu Temburong — towering dipterocarp trees, proboscis monkeys along the river banks, hornbills flying overhead, and the incredible biodiversity of one of Earth’s oldest rainforests. After breakfast, return by longboat and speedboat to BSB, arriving by midday.
